I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a comment on a blog or social media post that says “The Japanese are so into fashion.” The fact is, there’s a reason why the Japanese are so obsessed with their fashion. The Japanese are the most creative people on the planet. Fashion is the Japanese language… the Japanese are the most creative people on the planet.

This is probably the most over-exaggerated point that I’ve ever made in my life. I’m sure many of you would agree with me. But I’m a photographer and a writer and the fact that I can write about anything is awesome. I’m not saying that Japanese fashion is the most creative thing in the world. I’m saying that I’m more excited to read about this stuff than most people would.
You know.I could write a whole post about fashion blogging. But Im just gonna go ahead and say this first. Im kinda obsessed with all the Japanese blogs that Ive read. I love the fashion, fashion blogs, and fashion blogs in general. I find it interesting that there are so many people who are so passionate about this particular topic, and Im totally going to read them.
Jap fashion bloggers are a sub-genre of Japan-centric blogs. The reason for this is that the Japanese people are obsessed with fashion and design. They are generally very well-informed about what is going on in the fashion world, and how fashion is perceived. The fashion world has a large following online in Japan, so a lot of the fashion bloggers Ive read are Japanese. I think the fashion bloggers in Japan are way more interesting than the fashion blogs in the U.S.
There is a huge difference in how Japanese brands market to people in Japan than in the U.S. The Japanese brands are very careful about what images they use in their marketing, and they keep it simple and focused on a very narrow demographic. The U.S. fashion brands are far more expansive in their marketing, and their images are usually much more colorful. They are often much more interested in showing their range of styles, but their marketing tends to be more superficial.
This is a big difference between the two countries, but it’s not just about the marketing. One difference we noticed was that many Japanese brands are more focused on creating a personality for themselves in the media. They seem to be constantly trying to create a “brand” for themselves. This is not a bad thing, but in my opinion it can create an image that is just a little too corporate for the target market.

I think the Japanese model is a great method for a brand to gain a following, and it’s not the only one. There are many other brands that are trying to do this, including Nike, H&M, and Reebok. If you’ve even heard of any of these brands, you know why they are so popular, but in my opinion it’s too easy to overuse this model.
Japan has its own fashion scene and fashion blogs are a natural place to get your name out there. However, if you make a video, blog, or anything else that draws a lot of attention to you, you could easily find yourself in trouble. There are so many rules, so many responsibilities, so many rules and regulations. So many different types of media can make you look or sound like a robot, or like you are an alien from outer space.
